Unstoppable
Lyrics by: Sara Wilson

There's a moment in every woman's life when she realizes she's done shrinking. Done apologizing. Done carrying the weight of expectations that were never hers to begin with. That moment.... that spark... is where transformation begins. It's where the world's attempts to drown her only teach her how to breathe deeper. It's where every push against her becomes the force that launches her higher.
To me, International Women's Day is a great time to honor that transformation. It's a great time to celebrate the women who rise louder, fiercer, and freer than anyone ever expected them to. I want to take a minute to honor the women who have had to rebuild themselves from the inside out. The ones who refuse to be defined by the limits placed on them. The ones who carry their scars as proof of survival and strength, not shame.
This song was written for them. For every woman who has been underestimated, silenced, or pushed aside, and chose to rise anyway. It's raw and unapologetic because empowerment isn't always soft.... sometimes it's sharp and messy.
In honor of women everywhere, I'm sharing my song "Unstoppable."
A song for the reborn. π¦βπ₯
The unclaimed. π¦βπ₯
The ones who rise twice as loud. π¦βπ₯
Here are the lyrics:
They wanted her to drown
but she breathed the water in
They waited for her downfall
but she chose to rise and win
They tried to break her spirit
tried to chain her to the ground
Every time they pushed her
she came back twice as loud
π¦βπ₯
The old her is gone now
No fear can break through
She's reborn and unclaimed
If you don't like it, fuck you
π¦βπ₯
Her voice is thunder
Her hearts a flame
She's not a shadow
She's done with shame
Her strength is weapon
Her soul is her truth
She's unstoppable now
and her scars are the proof
π¦βπ₯
She stomped out all her demons
Mind sharpened to steel
She learned to stand unbroken
She learned how to heal
Her spirit's getting louder
Her will is carved in stone
She conquered all her darkness
She'll never stand alone
π¦βπ₯
No force can cage her in
No fate can draw the line
She's rewriting every chapter
This story's hers. It's mine.
π¦βπ₯
CHORUS
π¦βπ₯
Let the world try to shake her
She won't bend. She won't break
Every scar on her body
is a crown she chose to take
She's rising. She's shining
She's claiming what's hers
A woman reborn
In the power she deserves
π¦βπ₯
FINAL CHORUS
π¦βπ₯
Happy International Women's Day! π¦βπ₯

Happy International Women's Day! Great song!
This is just awesome! I love the beat! I love the melody! Totally catchy! <I love all the lightning-- had to say it! π> And I love the lyrics! The chorus is awesome. I'm so enamored with thunder-- what can I say? That whole chorus is *really* sweet! This is perfectly presented too, Sara. I like you save the video for last. Because the lyrics are really powerful and the rhythm makes it *read* like lyrics, not a poem. So then to present the music/completed song at the end allows the reader to enjoy this in two different ways! And the type of woman you are describing throughout this? I'm in awe. Truly. Love it!!! β‘πBillβ‘
I knew this was going to be π₯from the title and it did not disappoint! Diggin the lyrics, the sound & the vibe! Stunt on em Cappie Queen Supermodel! We need 'Rise twice as loud' on some merch my friend! π«ΆπΎπ
Really enjoyed your opening to this. Felt impowering. Also, the lyrics are amazing and the song came out great! Keep going Sara!!!
