Michigan Wine
While not everyone might not know it, Michigan is well known for it's own collection of wineries and vineyards. Located both in the North West of the Lower Peninsula centered around Traverse City and down South West in the Benton Harbor/St. Joseph area some of these have been around as long as the 1800's. Now that number as grown, and in 2018 there were 148 wineries operating in Michigan.

Meditate in the Nude
Since the plague seeped its blighted fingers into our society life’s been harder for most. Long, underpaid, unappreciated work hours compounded on stress. The Mental illness epidemic worsened, and the world is generally falling apart. Still, if we are to persevere we must take time to smell the proverbial flowers. Lest we be ground to dust by the grindstone.

Secret Shopper Reviews: K&B Home Etc and Cafe is Milton's #1 Boutique, Comic Shop, Record Store & Place to Grab a Sandwich or Coffee
One of my favorite type of assignments I get here for Emerald Coast's Best is our Secret Shopper Reviews. It's the ultimate test for a business, not knowing there is anybody there secretly judging them. Although, in the age of internet reviews, I guess you could argue that everybody has the potential to be doing that. When I was told to check out K&B Home Etc and Cafe recently, I wasn't sure what to think. They are a newer business and I don't get the pleasure of traveling to Milton often so I hadn't heard of them before. After a bit of asking around, and as you can see below, I got some incredibly different answers.

The Holiday Inn, Maidenhead, England
Due to various restrictions here in the UK because of COVID 19, “hoomins” as my great artistic friend Pegs calls members of the servant species, are unable to travel as freely as they used to. So, it has befallen to Mitzi and I to visit various hotels and prepare reviews of our visits for when you hoomins or, ”servants” as I refer to you can resume regular travel.

Sensational Sweden (Travel from Home #10)
It started with the realization that I could indulge my love for Fredrik Backman’s stories if I fake visited Sweden, so I put it next on my list of travel from home destinations. There is an IKEA near enough to me that I could conveniently pick up food from their food market as well. The amazing food, the book, the movie, and the music all combined to be one of my favorite travel from home trips yet.
