"World's Most Dangerous Terror Regime" Forgot to Commit Any Terrorism After Tehran Bombed in 2025
Prompting Second U.S. Strike

In an unexpected turn of events, the Islamic Republic of Iran - long designated "the most dangerous terrorist regime on Earth" - failed to commit any terrorism for six months after the June 2025 Israeli-American bombing of its capital.
Following the 2025 airstrikes, which leveled much of Tehran's government district, Iran's government did… absolutely nothing.

"No proxy attacks, no missile barrages, not even a strongly worded tweet in broken English,"
said a White House aide at a briefing on Tuesday.
"We hit them harder than anyone since, well, the last time we hit them, and they just sat there. It's frankly disrespectful."
Pentagon planners, accustomed to Iranian retaliation cycles (drone here, militia there, rest, repeat), described the eerie quiet as "deeply destabilizing to our national strategic planning."

One senior defense official, speaking on condition of anonymity, said the lack of Iranian escalation "makes it very hard to justify the next tranche of billion-dollar munitions."
With congressional hawks growing restless and defense contractors nervously checking their upcoming quarterly results, the Trump administration - now in a lame-duck post Epstein phase waiting for someone to leak salacious Trump pics - authorized a second wave of strikes on Iran "to restore the proper regional balance."
"Sometimes you have to bomb them twice to get the terrorism you were promised the first time,"
explained an administration official, echoing a sentiment reportedly shared in Situation Room meetings. "We're not escalating; we're just helping them remember who they are."
Ordinary Iranians interviewed on the street expressed mild bewilderment.

"I was happy America was bombing the dictator Khamenei," said Tehran tax accountant Shayan, "until they started bombing my neighborhood."
The Pentagon drone strike hotline has been besieged with conflicting calls from NIMBY Tehran residents.
At press time, U.S. Central Command confirmed that additional sorties are being prepared "just in case Iran decides to get creative and not respond at all again," while military analysts warned that if the World's Most Dangerous Terror Regime regime simply continues its alarming pattern of hitting empty airstrips in Dubai and Qatar for Iranian state television, Washington may be forced to bomb the Muslim capitals of Riyadh, Islamabad, and Jakarta preemptively to maintain narrative consistency.

Timeline of U.S.-Iran conflict
1979
January: Shah Mohammad Reza Pahlavi flees Iran amid mass protests. February: Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini returns from exile and establishes the Islamic Republic. November: Iranian students seize the U.S. Embassy in Tehran, taking 52 Americans hostage for 444 days—the crisis severs diplomatic ties and sparks U.S. sanctions.
1980–1988
Iran-Iraq War: The U.S. tilts toward Iraq (providing intelligence and arms) to counter revolutionary Iran. U.S. Navy clashes with Iranian forces in the Persian Gulf (e.g., 1988 USS Vincennes shoots down Iran Air Flight 655, killing 290).
1990s–2000s
U.S. imposes oil/trade sanctions (1995 onward) over terrorism support and nuclear ambitions. 2002: President Bush labels Iran part of the “Axis of Evil.” 2003–2011: Iraq War—U.S. accuses Iran of backing militias killing American troops.
2015
JCPOA (Iran nuclear deal) signed under Obama: Iran curbs enrichment for sanctions relief.
2018
Trump withdraws from JCPOA, reimposes “maximum pressure” sanctions. Iran gradually violates limits.
2020
U.S. drone strike kills IRGC commander Qasem Soleimani in Iraq; Iran retaliates with missile strikes on U.S. bases.
2025
June: Israel launches major strikes on Iranian nuclear/military sites. U.S. follows, hitting Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan. Brief 12-day war ends in ceasefire amid regional escalation.
2026
February 28: U.S. and Israel launch coordinated “major combat operations” (Epic Fury/Roaring Lion), targeting nuclear sites, missiles, navy, and leadership. Strikes kill Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei and senior officials. Trump announces regime-change aim, urging uprising. Iran retaliates with missiles/drones on Israel, U.S. bases in Gulf states (Qatar, UAE, etc.). Conflict spreads regionally; oil prices surge. As of March 2, fighting continues with no immediate resolution.
