"All Women Experience Dysphoria"
To begin with I have to deliver you a very unfriendly, ugly, in-your-face reminder that the LGBTQ+ community is not an accepting place when you are anything other than homosexual. If you're bisexual you're told you don't exist. If you're pansexual you're told you just want to feel like a "special snowflake". If you're asexual you're told that you just haven't found "the one". But god forbid you are transgender. That's a whole other ballgame.

Embrace Change
Sometimes the pain we feel inside is like a little bitty caterpillar's metamorphosis yanking at the center of your stomach fighting for a sense of direction trying to guide you where it's hard to see where you are going; because going up the stairs, you haven't yet made it to the top to see what's there. Haven't yet reached its destination. We hurt because we don't understand the proper purpose of change. Stress is strain, mental or emotion tension which causes anxiety and depression in the body. Stress—as I call it—is just the UN-understood feeling of the process of change that is required for the next level in one's life that is NOT necessarily unwanted, but is misunderstood.

A Definition of "Heroic Measures"
Heroic measures. What do these words mean? In a hospital, when this phrase is heard, it means that if a patient's body tries to quit, a group of people will do everything in their power to keep the person alive. The group of people is the "code team". There are doctors, nurses, nurse's aides, x-ray techs, and respiratory therapists on the code team. Their goal is to keep you alive, according to your wishes. It will be assumed that these are your wishes unless there is a POLST or DNR in your chart, signed by yourself and your physician. Basically, A POLST/DNR says, "Let me die naturally, according to the function of my body". It means "no heroic measures".
