Profile of the Female Serial Killer
When asked to name a famous serial killer plenty come to mind: Ted Bundy, Jeffrey Dahmer, Dennis Rader, The Zodiac Killer. Aileen Wuornos might pop up but predominantly when asked most people will name male serial killers. A former FBI profiler once stated that there are no female serial killers, but of course, there are. One in six U.S. based serial killers are female and overall they are better killers than their male counterparts.

Golden State Killer
Early Life Joseph James DeAngelo was born in 1945 in the suburbs of Sacramento. He joined the military and served in Vietnam for 22 months before coming home as a decorated vet. He attended Sierra College where he earned his bachelor's degree in criminal justice in 1972. After graduating, he went on to become a police officer in Exeter, California from 1973 to 1976 and then joined the Auburn police force from 1976 to 1979. Many of his co-workers described him as the 'average joe' and an upstanding guy whose passion was to "serve the community". Unfortunately, his experience in the police force and military, aided him in avoiding persecution for more than 40 years.

Eric Edgar Cooke
Eric Edgar Cooke was born 25th February 1931 in Victoria Park, Perth and was the eldest of 3 children. Cooke was born with a cleft palate and hare lip, he endured intense bullying throughout his school life due to his deformities. Eric Edgar Cooke’s home life was no better, he received beatings from his alcoholic father on a daily basis, emotionally neglected. Cooke also suffered from a number of conditions that included regular blackouts spending a lot of time in the hospital due to them; headaches; many illnesses and injuries from being accident prone. Despite this Cooke became a very adept cat-burglar confessing to more than 200 burglaries.

Super athletes, geniuses, and speakers that are all born for with this gift that all of us wish we could have. These stories always seem so far fetched and yet we still try our best to connect with these inspirational figures. However, people like Jackie Robinson, Michael Jordan, Albert Einstein, Malcolm X, Conor McGregor, John Cena, Bill Gates, and even Mark Zuckerberg are once in a life time people who cannot be replicated. A Disturbing History of Serial Killers You Probably Didn't Know About
Rodney James Alcala (born August 23rd, 1943) was a rapist and serial killer who currently sits on death row in California, for five murders committed between 1977 and 1979. Alcala also received an additional twenty five years after being tried and convicted of another two murders committed in New York City. When arrested, police found a collection of over one thousand photos of teenage boys and girls in provocative poses. In 2016, police discovered the body of a woman in one the photos, and Alcala received another 25 years for her murder. Alcala is often compared to Ted Bundy and other notorious serial killers. Now lets get into the whole story of this demon.
