I hate shaving more than I hate washing dishes (which is a lot). I get razor burn/ingrown hairs more often and more easily as I get older for some reason, which is frustrating. In other words, shaving is a nightmare! I get razor burn, ingrown hairs, and swollen lymph nodes... Everything horrible that could happen from shaving materializes on my body. Thank goodness I am well past the nicking-myself phase. If I cut myself every time I shaved I couldn't use some of my shaving solutions because it would burn! I have tried many things to prevent these things from happening, and I think I have finally figured out how to solve my shaving saga.

Unfortunately I have been graced with skin that is as dry as a desert. It has always been that way. And along with that, my skin is prone to break-outs. A combination that is not preferable. Many "acne-prone skin" products are tailored towards that which is also oily. I have found that they are generally very drying for my already dry skin so I have been stuck finding the right products for both my skin issues. And on top of both these issues, my skin is scarred from previous breakouts, especially along each of my cheekbones and my chin.
