I'm a weirdo nerd who’s extremely subversive. I like rocks, incense, and witchy stuff. Intrusive rhyme bothers me. Some of my fiction might have provoked divorce proceedings in another state.😈

Eve Speaks
So there we were, hanging out in the garden, everything perfect, one day seamlessly melting into another when I noticed the caterpillars eating the apples, boring great holes through them, filling the air with the sweetest, most beautiful fragrance I had ever smelled. It smelled clean and crisp, not cloying like the sweet gardenias and jasmine. I kept coming back to smell the wonderful fruit that someone said we weren’t supposed to eat.

The Next Morning
Sunlight spilled across my face, waking me. I rose slowly, a bit slower than usual, probably one or two martinis too many. I’m glad I pulled my robe around my body: I heard voices coming from my bath as I tread through the arbor joining it to my chamber. Sure enough, there my brother was, having a hot tub party in my bath. He took one look at my face and quickly escorted everyone somewhere else.

The Blood of Eve IX. Content Warning.
After my shower, with Irish Spring and Head & Shoulders, I got dressed in a pair of jeans and a Hornets hoodie, grabbed my keys and wallet and headed out tbe door, into the evening. There was sand on my floormat but I couldn’t figure how it got there since I haven’t been to the beach in a really long time.

Operating Costs
I understand that a fair number of Vocal creators are having trouble. I also see a correlation: these creators have approximately 3000+ published stories. That’s a lot, even if they’re just text files, but when you add media, that file size grows exponentially. Anyone else ever get the “Your iCloud storage is full” message on your phone? Time to delete files or buy more storage.

Fonts
What’s up with this random capitalization of common nouns? It grieves me, about as much as bold italicized font (why? It makes no sense). Why would an entire story need to be in either bold or italicized font? Again, both makes no sense whatsoever. Fonts have meaning.
