Cremated ashes and how to transfer them to an urn
ouAt 11:30 last night, a family friend called me and asked an interesting question. I had told him that my sister in law had ordered an urn for my husband's cremated remains so he wanted to know how I would get the ashes from the box that now holds them into the urn. I had not really thought about it but I told him I supposed I would simply pour them in. His next question was if I were supposed to contact the funeral home to take care of this and I said I had assumed my business with them was concluded once they presented the box of ashes to me.

The recurring death. Top Story - April 2021.
The death of any loved one is difficult and healing can be hindered by simply taking care of business. I vaguely experienced this with my mother and my grandmother but it's almost unbearable now that my husband has died. We spent 45 years together which is 5 years shy of being half a century. He has only been gone about 3 weeks but it feels like an eternity. Each time I believe I am having a good day something happens that causes me to feel as if he has just died all over again. It feels like smooth sailing and then waves crashing down over and over again taking my breath away before they subside.

Candy Canes: The Origin and Religious Significance
Candy Canes Are a Holiday Staple Candy canes are a staple of the holiday season, but how much do you really know about them? Unsurprisingly, more of these candies are sold between Thanksgiving and Christmas than at any other time of the year. Many people use them as decorations on Christmas trees, while others give them as treats. The sugary sticks used to exist exclusively in red and white but can now be found in various colors.

Mama cat chose to adopt me
I guess I would have been called the cat lady back in the day because I once owned 14 of them at one time. They were not in my house but lived outside. Over a period of time I would say I probably owned at least 24 cats. My story today took place when I was 14 years old so I have no original pictures. The cover photo, however, is an almost exact replica of my "Mama cat," If you have read any of my recent pet stories then part of this tale will be familiar.

'Bewitched' television series 10 little known facts
1.Inspired by the big screen Bewitched was a television series that ran for 8 seasons on ABC from 1964 until 1972. Sol Saks the creator admitted in several interviews, that his script for the pilot episode was inspired by two films: Bell Book and Candle, and I Married a Witch. Both movies were owned by Columbia Pictures, which also owned Screen Gems, the company that produced Bewitched. This is why Saks was not worried about there being problems from his obtaining his plot from the two movies.
