Andulusia

Brazil

In the 20th century, over thousands of Japanese immigrated to Brazil, and today the country has the largest Japanese population outside Japan. Curitiba has become a cherry tree fantasy in the springtime.

Enjoy the cherry trees in Jardin Botanico.

Take a walk along Iguacu Street.

California

From April to May, check out Antelope Valley. You can see orange-flowered hills with amazing beauty as poppies pop up everywhere.

Canada

With about forty thousand cherry trees, when spring blooms, Vancouver is breathtaking.

Enjoy the VanDusen Botanical Gardens

and take a walk in Queen Elizabeth Park

Chile

From September to November, the Atacama Desert blooms. Even though it is the driest place on Earth, in the springtime, the desert sands and hillsides are in hues of purple, white, blue, and yellow flowers.

England

The UK is known for its bluebells, and to see the best and most, visit the Lake District with bluebell woods.

Take the famous Rennerdale Knotts walk to see blue spread far and wide.

France

There is nothing like enjoying spring in Paris. Walking along the Eiffel Tower, you see the lovely blooming sakura.

See the cherry trees blooming on Avenue Gustave Eiffel.

Visit the Jardin Tino Rossi to see the many blooming cherry trees in the middle of April.

Provence is a purple dream with fields of lavender. It is a magical place in the springtime in the south of France.

Germany

Enjoy the Old Town of Bonn with cherry blossom tunnels.

See Heerstrasse, which is known as the Cherry Blossom Avenue.

India

Enjoy the Valley of Flowers in northern India on the border of Nepal and Tibet when flowers begin to bloom in July. There are more than 300 alpine flowers to delight in with a backdrop of mountains.

Japan

In the springtime, Tokyo is magical, full of blooming sakura trees.

Take a walk in Ueno Park with thousands of different cherry trees.

Enjoy Chidorigafuchi Park with a seven-hundred-meter-long walkway and moat.

Walk along the Meguro River bank.

Also enjoy Kyoto with its cherry blossom season blanketed with sakura flowers.

Stroll along the Philosopher’s Path.

Morocco

Every spring you can see 3-4 tons of flowers in the M’Goun Valley. There is a three-day rose festival, and you can see endless rows of Damask roses in April. The picked roses are used to make Moroccan rose oil, which is used for various products.

Netherlands

Enjoy the cherry blossoms at Amstelveen in North Holland with lovely pink and white blossoms.

Enjoy the park at the Amsterdamse Bos, where in 2000, around four hundred cherry trees were planted by the Japanese to pay homage to tsunami victims.

Kersenbloesempark hosts the annual cherry blossom festival.

See the amazing tulips in Holland at the Keukenhof Gardens, with more than 7 million flowers blooming in the spring. Among the tulips are daffodils, lilies, roses, and irises.

The Amsterdam Tulip Festival lasts all April long.

New Zealand

In November at Lake Tekapo, enjoy the springtime flowers. You’ll see vibrant fields of lupines along the lakeshore. The flowers range from pink to lavender to white, red, and purple, with the turquoise glacier lake as a backdrop.

Scotland

Edinburgh is known for its spring blossoms blooming forth with fluffy pink petals.

Enjoy the cherry trees in the Princes Street Gardens near Edinburgh Castle.

Spain

Spring is beautiful and colorful in Andalusia in the south of Spain. (pictured above)

Enjoy the blossoms in Maria Luisa Park in Seville.

Enjoy the Jerte Valley for its abundant blooming cherry trees around the second fortnight in March. A spectacular sight in white.

The Extremadura Region looks enchanting.

Sweden

Stockholm looks all decked out in the spring with pink cherry blossoms.

Walk through Kungstradgarden with more than sixty cherry trees blossoming.
