Whirling: The Storm Inside No One Saw
When chaos lives inside you, the world doesn’t notice

“I felt the world spin around me, yet no one noticed.
My thoughts collided in circles, endless and silent.
Somewhere between chaos and calm, I forgot who I was.”
Whirling. That’s the only word that fits. My mind raced in circles, replaying conversations, mistakes, and memories I couldn’t escape. Every thought tugged me in a different direction, leaving me dizzy and exhausted.
People told me to “calm down” or “relax,” but they couldn’t see the storm inside me. The calm on my face was a mask, hiding the endless spinning that refused to stop. Even silence felt loud.
I tried to anchor myself, focusing on routines, words, or breathing—but nothing worked. The whirl continued, relentless and consuming. It wasn’t anger, sadness, or fear—it was everything at once, tangled and spinning faster than I could follow.
I realized I couldn’t control the whirl. But I could learn to step into it, feel it, and watch it pass. Whirling became not just chaos—it became a teacher, showing me the edges of my own soul.
“One day, I’ll stop spinning—not because the world has changed, but because I’ve learned to dance within the whirlwind.”
