The Wealth of Subtraction
Why having less is the secret to feeling whole
Abundance isn't always about having more; sometimes, it’s the exact opposite. If you want to live an abundant life, you might actually need less. Why do people today seem to have everything, yet feel as though they have nothing? In a world of material excess and information overload, we often feel spiritually barren and confused. We pursue "more," but more rarely brings the satisfaction we expect.
True abundance is not just about material wealth; it is about inner satisfaction and spiritual fulfillment. It is a sense of joy and tranquility that wells up from the depths of the heart—a deep love and appreciation for life itself. Pursuing more possessions and data doesn't bring true richness. Instead, we need to subtract: removing unnecessary items, filtering out irrelevant information, and cutting away the trivial matters that distract us.
This isn't a negative philosophy, but a positive attitude toward living. it is about finding balance in the material world to create richness in the spiritual one. We must refuse to be enslaved by what we own or what we read.
The Power of Simplification
Everything we accumulate consumes our time and energy—whether it is excessive social obligations or complicated daily tasks. By simplifying your life and focusing on what truly matters, you can better enjoy the beauty of existence.
The Necessity of Deep Thinking
In this information-saturated age, deep thinking is crucial. We are constantly surrounded by data, yet much of it remains superficial, failing to provide profound reflection or true insight. While acquiring information, we must engage in analysis to gain a deeper understanding of our world.
Cherishing the Present
Often, we neglect the happiness of the "now" in pursuit of a better future. However, this focus on the horizon often leads to a dull and monotonous life. Only by cherishing the present and enjoying every moment can we truly experience the world's abundance.
By letting go of the need to control and accepting what comes naturally, we find a genuine sense of contentment. Less is more; more often leads to confusion.
