The Waterfall Of Ink

The waterfall,

a river of black ink,

flowed to the pen

on a bed of white paper.

All waited

for the poet's thoughts

to manifest into reality.

As if by magic,

it did.

Like a thunderbolt,

fast and furious,

the poem was conceived

by the paper.

The poet read

and was amazed,

filled with joy

about what he had nurtured

from the deepest corners

of his mind—

a universal gift.

When the poet's readers

confirmed its strength and greatness,

only then

was the poet at peace

with his creative

waterfall of inky words.

About the Creator

George’s Girl 2026

I've been writing poetry since the age of 10. With pen in hand, I wander the realms unseen. The pen holds power; ink reveals thoughts. A poet may speak truth or weave a tale. You decide. Let pen and ink capture you ❤️#Marie381UkWrites

Good work in a way of describing writing.
