The Quiet Return to Yourself
Healing is not a race, but a gentle rediscovery of your own light
It’s okay to feel sad; that’s human nature.
But don’t let someone unworthy keep you down for too long. Don’t let other people’s indifference or mistakes become reasons to torment yourself repeatedly; that isn’t fair to you at all.
You have people around you who care about you and deeply feel for you; they all want you to be happy. Please don’t suffer for someone who doesn’t appreciate you. You deserve to be treated well, and that kindness must begin with yourself.
You don’t need to force yourself to get better immediately, nor do you need to pretend to be strong. You just need to slowly refocus your energy on yourself. Recovery doesn’t require desperate effort. Just live your life as you usually do, and engage in things that relax you.
One day, you’ll find that the sadness of the past has quietly faded away. Those unfortunate things and mistakes that weren’t yours can’t hold you back forever. You will slowly get better, find your rhythm again, and rediscover the joy of life just as it is.
