He hit me with those eyes,
a thousand lifetimes deep,
and I took the plunge
into an ocean of ideas best left alone,
dove down into a cavern of fathomless pressure,
pirouetted, and ascended, reclaiming the surface
between real life and dreams,
relying on tension to keep me afloat.
