Did we walk through fields, swear our vows by the Nile River,
or stand as knights, hands joined in oath?
I knew you the moment we met.
Perhaps love, timeless and true,
has found us once again.

Marty and Steve were two grumpy old men who lived together. They had known each other for years. Marty had been a bachelor all his life. Steve said it was because no one could stand to ever live with. Marty’s standard reply was “Well, you are, so what sort of a moron does that make you!”

Oh man: world slower ~ love unhurried, well ain’t that a beauty. Anything rushed will never be right. But this love you speak of by the River Nile — the knights —the two joining hands in an oath, what a smooth relation. A nice touch at the end with what seemed like reincarnation 👌🏽👏🏽🤗♥️
