I pray she would choose her own good,
not rebellion.
Let her see the countless miracles that swirled around her, as fall leaves,
yes, for all her life.
Show her how to leave the winter of her past behind,
so that she can spring into the motion that she yearns to relish.
Protect her body from harm and her mind from waging fear.
I’m still praying for her,
year by tear.
Sometimes, we have to step back,
to see a better view of the Milky Way galaxy,
that has been sweetly resting on our own table for us all along!
