POEM ABOUT ANATOMY
or being lost for words

I tried to write a poem about my legs. Huh! Didn’t go very far.
When that didn’t work, I decided to write a poem about my arms. Couldn’t reach an audience.
Again, failing that project, I began writing about my eyes. Couldn’t see where that might go,
So I decided, rather than physically write, I’d create an audiobook. Couldn’t find the words to even begin.
So here I am, once again, sitting at my laptop and having my fingers do the walking – across the keyboard, of course.
Now, we’ll see how far they’ll go!
