A Simple Visual Experiment

Played with by many a girl and boy

Hours of imagination; joy

Such a simple classic, clever toy

Turn the scope; grainy pieces unite

Colors and shapes dance together; delight

Turn again; partners change in sight

I think that it would be neat, for all to try

To view the world through kaleidoscope eye

An experiment under God’s blue sky

To apply the technique of this lens

Clear your thoughts, this is a cleanse

Incorporate your family and friends

In case this process is hard to grasp

Think of broken necklace; mended clasp

Sleeping serpent; releasing asp

All things intermingle just open your mind

All shapes and colors beautifully combined

Acceptance for all; no need to remind

inspirational
