I MADE THE SHADE ROOM!!!!
Surprise!!!! I Made the Shade Room!!!
Honestly, this was unexpected but yes I was on the Shade Room. Three months ago, I wrote a story about Celebrities getting Honorary Degrees and how Rapper Young Joc, Reality Stars Cynthia Bailey and Towanda Braxton are receiving their honorary doctorates and accepting their titles from this so-called bible christian university.
Here is the article story on Honorary Degrees:
Well, since I published my story three months ago who knew I would get a message from a reporter from The Shade Room aka TSR. I was just minding my own business until Justin Carter, the host of TSR Investigates. Now at first, I thought it was someone was pretending to be him but thank goodness I saw the blue verified check proving he is the real deal.

He messaged me about my story and wants to schedule an interview with me for their story. I would have said "Yes, I would love to!" but instead I said "Ok!" I was surprised I never thought anyone especially a reporter from the Shade Room would read my story.
In case you didn't notice on my last story, I had done a little investigation on the story about the Leaders Esteem Christian University (LECU), where all these celebs getting their honorary doctorate.
This supposed Christian university was founded in 2020 (pandemic era), that offer certificate programs, as well as, degree programs at the Associate’s, Bachelor’s, Master’s, and Doctorate levels. However, last time that I checked which I had mentioned in the TSR Investigates, that the websites had a ".net" and had other websites. It wouldn't let see the academic programs, it showed pictures of celebs dressed in PhD graduation attire , no faculty, no however there was a donation page to donate between $150.00-$3,000.

I did find the supposed building however it didn't even look like a university. It looked more like an office building than a school or any university at all.

However, Justin did interview Dr. Verna Caddie , the founder of LECU to set the record straight about the supposed university. According to what I had research about Dr. Caddie is a Debutante Expert, Educator, Author, community empowerment, and humanitarian.

According to Dr. Caddie, while being interviewed with Justin, Caddie founded the university and ceremony as a way to honor people for community effort even though the so-called university is unaccredited. In 2020, she did her first ceremony with 10 people and continued on the next five more years given 800 degrees.
Dr. Verna Caddie's Education and Credential Experience:
Caddie stated that LECU is a accredited"religious school" and not a degree mill. If you are new to degree mills, here's explanation about Degree Mills:
Degree Mills or "Diploma" Mills are organizations that award academic degrees and diplomas with substandard or no academic study and without academic approval by officially recognized educational accrediting bodies or qualified government agencies. The purchaser can then claim to hold an academic degree, and the organization is motivated by making a profit. These degrees are often awarded based on vaguely construed life experience. Just like Joc awarded for music and community upliftment, Bailey awarded for Humanitarianism for her work in empowering women, and Braxton awarded for her impact on entertainment and her philanthropic efforts.

So pretty much it wasn't illegal but it is a scheme like I said during the interview. Instead of it being an honorary doctorate degree ceremony, why can't it be an awards ceremony???? Because what is the point of them giving honorary degrees since they are actual students who are trying to garner an PhD which is a huge slap in the face. Special Thanks to Justin Carter from the Shade Room and it was pleasure to meet you and same to you and the Shade Room thanks for this interview. The so-called religous university is still going on but still it wouldn't budge to apply and I would recommend anyone not to apply but whatever good luck.
